Oromo Christian Action Ministry has officially started its child sponsorship operations in Oromia,

as of July 2009.Sites were selected by the Implementing Agency, Gudina Tumsa Foundation,

in collaboration with participatinglocal Oromo evangelical churches, who in turn selected

specific localities and benefiting children based on degree of needs. At present it operates

at four sites, with benefiting boys and girls of various age groups attending from elementary

to high school.

The sites are:

1) Sena: North Shoa

2) Waayyuu Tuqaa: East Wollega

3) Arsii Nagallee: East Shoa

4) Kombolcha: East Hararge
